The online Nav Rules course requires only one serial number, the tuition fee serial number. There are suggested references given in the course, but no required materials. Electronic copies of the Nav Rules are included in the course.

(C) If you just want to add a hard copy of the Navigation Rules book, you can order that separately in the Books catalog. PS. Every boater should have a copy of this book, even if you are not taking the course. For US Inland Waters, it is a law that vessels over 39 feet carry a copy on board.
