How the process works

System Requirements. Windows XP, 2000, or Vista, with (recommended) 256 MB of RAM and a processor speed of 900 MHz.

Subscription. You will be purchasing 12 sequential issues beginning with the current issue at the time of the purchase. Each issue must be downloaded from the BWS page where the order is placed. Subsequent issues will be available on about the 15th of each month preceding the cover date of the magazine. The magazine can be downloaded to any computer, but it must be read from one that is registered according to the license agreement below.

Serial number. The purchase is processed automatically online and you are immediately provided with the serial number for your subscription. You will receive an email confirmation of your serial number, but no further emails unless you send an email asking a question.

Software License and Registration. To enable unattended downloads of your series of magazines, your subscription must be registered before the first magazine will open. This only has to be done once, when you open the first magazine. It takes just seconds to register online. You can also register by email or telephone.

License is limited to 3 registrations. Your subscription is a single-user, single-computer license, with two back ups. If you own two computers that you would like to use to read the magazine, then you can use the 2nd registration for your second computer. That will leave one back up for the potential acquisition of a new computer. Individual registrations are permanent. They cannot be "unregistered" from one computer and transfered to another.

Printing is restricted. The electronic issues are intended to be read from the computer screen. They have all the advantages of computer files, searching, paging, many varied display options, and so on, but they cannot be printed in the conventional sense. You can capture individual screens of text or graphics and print those for quick reference or records, but you cannot print full page reproductions. There is no print button.

If your purchase is a gift, enter the recipient's information below and (optionally) in the Ship-to section of the online order form that follows.
